and some photos from the back bad quality as it was in the shade and the iphone dont like it, the insides were blue but its blackened already
honestly its up to you, but after the first coat you wont see much yellow anyway, unless you are doing a bright colour then its recommended that you do 1 or 2 white coats first but the white plastidip is like rocking horse **** or £20 a can off of ebay.
and do it inside, i was doing some blaze pink for the gf in my back garden and it just went bubbly and got ruined so i ended up wasting most of a can.
The only reason I'm thinking of doing it is coz my bonnet has faded slightly and it's really bugging me. Was thinking of wrapping it but then I came across your RR and thought I'd ask about plastidip. Sorry to be a pain mate but where did you get yours from and how many cans did you use? How easy is it to look after as in cleaning as I'd be worried that it would start to peel or is it quite tough stuff

I think i used about 3 or 4 cans, i got mine from plastidip.co.uk as its cheaper than everywhere else, and i bought more than 6 cans so it was £10.34 each.
I just use water and a sponge on it, its tough stuff ive used the pressure washer on it and its fine. Mine is marked by some polish tho i was doing the wing and it got on there so there is a small white mark on it but i can just dip over it.
Just make sure you dry it after you wash it or it goes all streaky until you wash it or it rains, i use a micro fiber cloth.
They do do a yellow dip or a clear one that makes you colour look frosted, or of you are that way inclined they have a blaze yellow thats like a highlighter yellow.

It sound like really good stuff then. Ill have a look on they're website. Definitely considering it in the near future. I don't know what mat black would be like against the yellow. Don't want to look like a giant bumble bee lol. But on the other hand don't know what other colour to go for. Will have to have a think
