Hi could you please help me i need some new inner vw polo wishbone bushes its 2002 tdi and was wondering if the ibiza cupra ones will fit the polo

i have done front wishbone front and rear bushes, arb and rear axle bushes!
makes a good bit of difference, no understeer
the best combination from others and my experience is powerflex front bush (awesome gti £21)and cupra rear bush(£8.50 each seator £17.53 awesome) powerflex arb (£21.38) rear bush(£39.53)both from awesome
here is a guide to fitting! its not that hard just need to get bolts and large washers, square ones from b&q and a socket set, a rachet strap is a must!! as otherwise a complete bitch!

hope this helps

Thanks for that mate do i need the seators for the bushes its not really for performance its just summat that wont rip and knock iv replaced the back wishbone bushes once and also then replace the complete console due to them knocking thats all mate so if its just the bushes i need thats sound mate thankyou

sorry its my typing i meant SEAT OR !! not seator lol
cupra rear console bushes is what you want then! as i said £17.53 and they will last and improve the handling as a bonus! but while you have the wishbone out i would just replace the front bushes as well. thats what went on mine, so just did the upgrade as it all has to come out. then you know your good for another 20K+

Lol ok mate thanks il order the cupra ones at £8.50 each mate what is what cost £17 Lol (I'm thick) i'm on a very tight budget so need it as cheap as chips tbh iv just spent £400 on it with new wishbones and shockers and arb bushes mate so I will just go to tps and get the cupra bushes as it is deffinately only the back bushes but I rung trade parts service twice one bloke said they would fit second time I rung another said they wunt lol but judging on here they do and I think you guys know more than a parts salesman lol
£8.50 bushes is what il buy mate thankyou

Do you know if im better off with cupra or polyflex ones and would it be possible to post a link up to a picture of polyurethane ones please thankyou

cupra bushes as the polyurethane tend to put to much vibrations into the drivers compartment as they are pretty solid and seats tend to get rattles anyway!
and there is nothing worse than a rattle in the dash

Exactly, but your wrong to same "Seats tend to rattle" I say that all of the Fabia, Polo, Ibiza rattle as they share a common platform (Fabia!).

very true! thanks for extending my short thought out answer
i must have used 2 tubes of mastic on mine and still there is a family of mice in there somewhere!
maybe a cat would be the next step

ok lads I'm just scared of having to spend after having these cupra ones done. my dash is like walking on broken glass anyway lol but just want my car to stop knocking it really bothers me and I only really drive it at weekend lol

Ohhh no problem mate thankyou for your help. just thought I should point out the second time I spoke to TPS the bloke said the cupra are bigger fittment I'm gunna go to tps tomorrow and ask to look at both check there the same size and hopefully stronger then il buy em and book it in

the cupra bush is 61mm in diameter if that helps so you could jack it up and measure it your self!
i dont trust many garages not to say there arent any good because there are
but the personal touch is in my opinion you know for sure then

Ok mate il not bother jacking it up il just go get em I think there's not much of the bush left to measure lol but iv been told they fit by 4 or more people so Im sure they will now mate
