Cupra/Cupra R alloys

Just wondered what sort of price I should be paying for a set of Cupra/R alloys? After something bigger to replace the 17"s on my FR but don't want aftermarket bits.

Other than eBay, anywhere else to keep any eye open?

That's for 4 brand fire new Cupra R 19" alloys ( i know as i asked for a quote from him for a new set recently!)

There is a set on Fleabay atm, but i went ot look a them last night and there refurbs and "obvious" refurbs at that (obvious defects!)

If i DO change mine out for a new set (be it new o.e LCR alloys or something else - aftermaket) then i'll be wanting rid of mine (Gloss black LCR rims!)

Yes - yes I did but I just keep thinking I've made a mistake doing so if I'm honest! Pretty sure ill get em swapped out in the next couple o weeks as its bugging me!!

Looked last night on EBay and there are two sets of LCR Rims on there now the silver ones are the ones I mention above, and then there are some gloss black ones that are well kerbed and in need of a refurb!!!

I like them in gloss black they look nice on your car, just lower it and it'll look loads better

Out of interest why are u gonna buy a new set of LCR rims and then sell yours? Why don't u just get yours painted back silver if u don't like the black? Just a thought

Because they wobble like **** on the motorway hahah, you can't have missed that thread surely? I'm sure I offered to buy them off him because I will be able to sort them out at work quite easily

I dont remember this, not sure how i missed it!

Not just the wobble as my reason for wanting rid, but these wheels have been refurbed/repainted twice now and they don't get stripped back each time just keyed in and painted over and tbh I have little faith atm in how hard-wearing refurbed alloys really are!, would rather start from fresh/new wheels tbh!

Extravagant - yes it is I suppose, but I want good/straight brand fire new mint wheels and I want to get rid of the gloss black too as I have gone off it!

Dunno for sure that it IS these wheels that are causing the wobble either as others have had similar issues and replaced wheels/tyres etc etc and never solved it iirc!

I am kinda hoping the wobble does go though when I get new rims!!
