CUPRA has confirmed it is extending its Formula E partnership with KIRO as the championship moves towards its new Gen4 era, underlining the brand’s continued commitment to electric motorsport.



The agreement means CUPRA KIRO will continue competing together in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, building on the partnership established over the last two seasons. For CUPRA, it is another clear sign that Formula E remains central to how it wants to develop and showcase electrified performance.



CUPRA KIRO heads into Gen4



The timing of the announcement is important. Formula E is preparing for its next major step forward with the arrival of the Gen4 regulations, which will bring the fastest and most advanced cars the series has seen so far.



CUPRA says the team will enter this new era with the Porsche 975 RSE, as Formula E pushes performance and efficiency to a new level. Under the Gen4 rules, power will rise to 600kW, or 816PS, while permanent active all-wheel drive...
