There isn’t a fuse for the wing mirror. I’ve had a look through the manual a couple of times in case I missed something but I couldn’t find any fuse related to the wing mirror.

It made me wonder if it’s maybe connected to the rear window?

According to the wiring diagram, all functions of the mirror is wired to the door control unit and the unit's power is controlled by a 30a fuse in position 9 (left door) and position 26 (right door). So, if other mirror functions are in working order, a blown fuse is not a possibility.

Thanks for the info. All other functions of the door are working. I didn’t think it’ll be a blown fuse to be honest.

I had (have) an issue with mirror heaters. On my previous Leon's (MK3.5 and MK4) the mirror heaters worked whenever the switch would be in the heat position. Late summer when mirrors were 'misted over' in the morning start up but temp may be 12 degrees or so the heaters didn't work. Booked it in to the dealer to check while I went for a walk. When I returned told me all good and they only work below a certain temperature and showed me a handbook extract. Strange (BS?) the last 2 car handbooks detail the exact same text and heaters worked independent of outside temperature. FF to November and the car is frozen up, mirror heaters don't work...and its very cold! Tried with/without HRW on/off even changed drive profile when it worked but couldn't understand why this would affect it. Thought about ringing dealer again to book in then later in the day they worked. Couldn't understand why and it hasn't been freezing cold (yet) since then. I'm loathe if it works some of the time in the winter to let the dealer attempt to find an intermittent problem like this when I'm sure it'll be fine when they test it and I don't fancy them stripping the car out to try and find a 'dodgy' connection somewhere. Now where's that scraper :ROFLMAO:.

Short journey this morning, HRW and mirror heaters on...mirrors clear. Short journey back (same things on as a test)...mirrors cold. Nuff said  .

Do you have the carbon fibre cover for the key fob? It affects range and reliability if you have. Had to ditch mine in the end.
Now that's interesting to read, mine is a bit iffy at times.

This is it, is it the one you're referring to?

Yeah did a test at my dealer with new batteries in both one with it fitted and the spare, and without it fitted. Big difference in range, I think it also drains the battery more due to struggling. Seems like CUPRA didn't test it / think it through. Shame as it looks cool.
