Some news article I read seemed to imply it would be above the Ateca in the Cupra range. I'm guessing that means a starting price the wrong side of £40K...

Yeah, having looked at similar cars like the 3008 and Vauxhall grandland hybrid4's it seems that mid 40's will probably be the target figure.

Ffs.
 
At £40k upwards you've got the bonus road tax to pay. Makes me wonder what the target market is for this. It puts the car into badge snob territory, will folk want Cupra when they can have BMW, Mercedes or Audi to keep up with the neighbours :blahblah:
 
Pretty sure they'll be selling these new at over £45k, put them on a business loan plan or let the employees drive them, get them 3000-4000 miles on the dash and then give them to the dealerships to sell for 39k on pcps making about £50k from them.
