Lets go S3 baiting ;)

 LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

Both cars tested are good in thier own ways. If you want ultimate power in a discreete package, then get the Mazda. The leon's just a fraction slower, and the K1 edition especially, does shout it's sporting intensions a bit to loudly for my liking.

Still, Seat answered that with the stock Cupra. Ohhh, hold on though:

Stock Cupra = Ultimate power in a discrete package

Bah, strike the above - Leon's better full stop. Like anyone on here will say any different! :cartman:

OMG U Mazda h8r!!!! ;) :ban:

Whatever floats your boat really.. cant say the kart track was a fair test, the Mazdas LSD will have helped a bit.

Down to personal choice :) - that review was pretty much useless..

anyway i know which i would have ;)

A Mazda MPS in white isn't going to win any favours on here!

Seat already have Candy White and its a lot nicer than the Mazda offering!

I like the MPS though but I bought my FR for the DSG gearbox. If Mazda offered a flappy-paddle box, and if it had a slightly lower CO2 output, then I fear i'd be a Zoom Zoom driver!

To be fair, the final challenge, where they asked a load of people which one they preferred the look of, almost EVERYONE chose the Leon... Only one chose the Mazda, and I think that was because he was coerced/chose it out of pity! :D

Mazda's are lovely cars to drive but the running costs are just way too much, also if you want cheap interiors Mazda can give Seat lessons on saving money and THATS saying something.
Thats from someone that traded a Mazda for a Seat 6 months ago, I miss the comfort and the performance but i sure dont miss the fuel and tax bills, and that was BEFORE the huge recent hikes. I really think I traded my 2.3l petrol drinker in at exactly the right time!

You didn't miss much.

In all fairness, that bit where Brewer fell off the folding bike almost made it worth the effort. :)

As for the hatch battle, a series of arbitrary tests don't constitute a balanced review (particularly when only one of the tests actually involves driving the car). I'm sure I'd feel the same way if I had a 3MPS.

This programme's almost as bad as that one with Brendan Coogan when they rated cars by how loud their stereos were.

Must agree with above, when are going to get a decent sensible review program, - the only one that comes close is Fifth Gear and even that is trying to compete with Clarkson these days.

At least they have Vicky though... ;)

That is the biggest single reason I don't watch that crap. Every time she comes on I want to put my foot through the TV or throw it out the window as I absolutely cannot stand her giggling, screaming, speech impediment or her constant reminders to people that she thinks she can really drive. I dont even rate her looks either. In fact I cant think of any good things about her other than a lot of this :censored:

Anyone fed with a golden spoon and who has had almost unlimited time in any kind of car in any kind of circumstance like her is going to be better than average at driving just as she is.

Had to laugh when she got her ass handed to her at the Speyside Stages rally in a works prepared 106 by an 18 year old lass in a 15 year old 205 . They showed her do the rally on the TV, but never mentioned that little fact

My girlfriend just asked if the middle picture in your signature (or avatar, whatever it is) is a hairdryer!
