Hi im quite new to this forum! I drive a white Bocanegra 59' plate. basically im wondering what i should do to my car next, Ive got A Miltek cat back and painted my back defuser and front fog plastics piano black to match the "Black Mouth" I also got the 'Spoiler and side skirt' pack fitted when i bought the car.


I fancy putting good set of white bulbs in my car(Side lights/fogs/headlights) and any other good subtle mod on my car to make it that little better nicer. Im unsure of types of bulbs etc to get so was wondering if you guys could help me out?? I fancy an induction kit and whatever else you guys can recommend.

To save you some time..

Bulbs = Ultra Bulbs (ebay)
Induction = I think people on here use forge/BMC? I may be wrong though, I don't have one.

I'd get an induction kit (the ITG one seems to make the most power, expensive though.) and a re-map and you will have a 220BHP car. Epic fun man.

ITG intake Expensive but makes good gains. Design of the unit itself is very good. Hurdy make an extra 16BHP on his revo mapped Polo GTI 1.4TSI with the ITG kit going from a modified stock airbox.

As for lights, do you have xenons or normal halogens?

I have standard doubled bulbed headlights. I was willing to pay the £800 or what ever the silly ammount was for the factory fitted bi-xenons but apparently you cant do it once the car has left the factory...Basically looking for the brightest white bulbs possible for my car!

Chris a member called nightflight, i think has a great guide on here in the MKV FAQ section about bulbs etc..

where about are you based? My son has said he has seen a white boc at a cruise in kirkaldy/glenrothes a few times...

No far from me, am at Rosyth lol. Dont think av ever seen another boc around here at all... He's there in his silver 59 plate clio. hope he's behaving ha ha

Av had it over a year and done FA to it ha ha. Although it does has some bling 15" MK1 leon wheels on it with winter tyres for all the snow ha ha ha... I wour crazy shifts and need to get to work at times like 0315 etc...
Was gonna get the roof wrapped gloss black but not got round to it...Thats about it.

Im wrapping my roof in the new year but cant be arsed doing things to my car in the winter so im gonna order my springs etc and fit them all in march or april! my car wont move in the snow whenever it may come! i never commute in my car, i have a works van so my car sits for 3/4 days at a time without turning a wheel. Good method to save petrol haha!

Thats why av not seen you out and about much. Bound to be hardly any miles on yours, mins has 10k. If you get your roof done before minie i might have a wee look at yours and see how it looks.. You can be the guinny pig.

I got a Forge induction kit for mine but didnt really rate it until I modified it my own way. I also got some white sidelights to match the headlights but thats about it apart from a "Got Boost?" Sticker. Roof Wrap on the white ones (on most of them infact!) Will look ace glad your liking your Cupra
