cupra r 210 timing belt change

my cupra has 55k miles and my next service is due at 60k or in january should i leave it to be changed then or will it be better done sooner

The manual says check at 60k and every 10k thereafter until it needs changing. I had mine done at the 50k service for peace of mind for another 50k.

it should be done evry 4 years regardless of miles if im not mistaken?
not sure how old your car is

That is not true. Current advice is that this is when it should be checked (this happens to be contrary to what the manual says). Just because a car is 4 years old does not automatically mean the belt needs changing.

just going off what is recomended by seat and autodata,mines coming up to 4 years old now but only has 30k on it and will only be checking mine.....no point spending money when you dont have to eh? lol
