Cupra r intercooler upgrade and remap

Hi guys I'm new and just brought a cupra r 04 plate with the bam engine, I'm looking to remap car,is it worth also having a fmic fitted to gain further? It has a miltek back box and pipercross panel filter and I'm gonna fit iridium plugs, any tips please and thanks, looking forge or airtec intercooler probably airtec as a lot cheaper!

Flow is what it's all about, the better the flow the better the output to the wheels but you could just remap the car to stage 1 as standard.
Plugs/diverter valve/coil packs/service/good fuel and tire's for the rr as you just acquired it.

Thanks, all been done apart from plugs in terms of service and not sure on coil packs, what's the diverter valve please?
