Hi, i bought an original cupra r kit from seat and trying to fit it now but it wont fit. can anyone whos put a kit on a non cupra let me know how it fits cos i may have to do some cutting and dont really want to cut into it if its not neccasary

You don't need to cut anything you just need some bumper guides and maybe some splashshield extensions.

i did get the fixings aswel but apparently he has had some problems with my intercooler and hoses being in the way and had to cut some bits out around the fogs. just hoping its not gonna look too bad
Is it a FMIC?
If its not you don't have to cut anything as the R bumper sits further forward....there's loads of room behind it.

Yeah I had to cut loads off my cupra bumper to get it past the FMIC.
You don't have to cut anything on the outside of the bumper tho, worst case you'd loose the foglights.

If its a large IC you will have to cut some of the LCR bumper away , i had to when i fitted mine.
its a forge FMIC so its not massive. the kit cost me in the region of £1100 with all grilles, fogs
