For £30 i'm not complaining! Would probably be better to declare it..up to you though! I don't think it's illegal to remove a silencer, removing the cat would fail an MOT.

I run a straight pipe now and it's not even crazy loud still but it brings the sound of this engine alive sounds crazy pops bangs every gear but it's not stupid loud... Still have cat in..

Also just take it to a friedly mot and it will pass an mot

I've had my boc over a year and just had my first MOT. Turns out the 1st owner had done this and I never even realised! They bodged it too so I had to have some work done to sort it out. It will fail the MOT if it's leaking fumes like mine was.
