I have an MY02 Leon Cupra (180) - the steering rack has failed.

Looking to get a reconned rack to fit, this one however says it's not suitable for Cupra T

I've read some stuff online on various VAG forums, that states it's just the quickness of the rack (less turns lock-to-lock) that are the difference between various models, but I'm not 100% sure myself.

Does the Cupra have a different rack to any of the other Leon MK1's? (1.6's, TDI's, Cupra R's?)

Will this physically fit in my car and work, albeit the number of turns lock to lock, may, or may not be different?

Cupra R has the 'quick rack' and is the only leon with it
The cupra rack will be same as the mk4 golf.
I have the cupra R front end conversion for not much more

Just what I wanted to here

No fewer than 7 different part numbers listed for RHD models

Being a cupra I would say its sports suspension, not sure how much difference it makes however all numbers apart from quick rack start 1j so based on mk4 golf
