I have a 2007 Leon Tfsi, and the steering has become very tight, I had the codes cleared and the steering wheel recalibrated by using the "turning it full lock in both directions" method, the steering will then be fine for 3 to 4 weeks and the error would return. To me, it seems as though it losses memory.
1. do I need to replace the steering rack? - if so does the golf 5 steering rack fit?
2. am I missing something ?
