Does anyone else suffer from The wheels hopping under acceleration.. Doesnt like The hard BANG before i can lift off The throttle.
I see you have the same "issues", however I do not know if we can call it issue or we are just not aware of how does it work. Yes, I sometimes have it. I observed during rainy weather, but on dry taramc as well. Whole car is shaking, but I had the same in Cupra 1P.

Oh and by the way, this is my friends car after Revo stg 1 Remap (91 oct file) under hard acceleration (DSG). As you can see (and hear) there's A LOT of wheelspin with no flashing icons whatsoever. This, as I mentioned before is just by selecting ESC Sport on another 1.8 FR DSG.
that was exactly the point i made in the comment on the other thread. AutoTopNL launched theirs on youtube, you can see huge amounts of tyre smoke but NO flashing traction light.

wheel hop is "normal" on FWD cars, if you want to get rid of it, you need to buy the dogbone insert

This will virtually eliminate the wheel hop but also will transfer vibrations to the interior. I ended up removing it since I couldn't bare the vibrations while idling with A/C on hahaha Just be careful with that. Wheel hop can damage your CV Joints.

But it has nothing to do with the TCS problem discussed here, they're not related nor caused because of each other

Are you sure its common on fwd cars, not just a VAG issue. My prevoious Volvo V40 T4 didnt suffer, nor a friends Volvo S60, none of The Saabs thats been in my familys possesion have hade The problem.

Yeah, its common on FWD. It depends a lot on the road and the suspension of the car but at least the cars that I've owned with this "¡ssue" are:

2003 Opel Astra
2004 Opel Corsa
2009 Mitsubishi Lancer
2012 Leon FR MK2
2013 Nissan Sentra
2014 Leon FR MK3

obviously, the more powa you have, the more aggressive Wheelhop! I actually tore my ex leon's CV joint because of excessive wheelhop -.-
