Hi, i'm needing an air mas meter for my cupra tdi..

does it have to be one for a 160pd, or would an fr one for instance fit..

also needing an alternator pulley..

i wasnt aware they fitted a different one to the 160, only the intake is slightly different. Maybe someone with the parts cat can confirm as vagcat doesnt go new enough.

Hi, turns out the air mass meter is engine specific, mine being bpx, i fitted an exchange unit today, engine still running a little rough, but as i've been advised the injectors probably need reprogrammed, as my third injector's almost doing nothing.. causing grief with emissions etc..

i'll get the alternator pulley replaced in a few wks, supposedly these plastic pulley's which some vw tdi's are fitted with stick, meaning that the voltage being returned to the battery is erratic ..

no doubt before long the cupra will be back on song..
