Hi All

Thanks to the pictures and feedabck from @GavinM , I cancelled my original order for Fiord Blue. I've no idea what the delivery time would have been, but reading other comments built dates are measured in months and not weeks. I managed to source an Americas Cup Edition from an alternative dealer last week, which satisfied my requirement for both matte paint, sunroof and upgraded entertainment system.

Rather than wait weeks for a colour-compromise, I am the proud owner of a Matte-green Terramar (I know it says Grey, but it's definitely green).

Lucky you, well done hope that fancy paint does not take a lot of looking after.

Looking good Nickfurnell, a couple of questions for you, did you get any car mats with your car and secondly if so are they the specific Americas Cup ones. I am still waiting for my mats to appear and didn’t receive any mats of any sort when I picked my car up. Good choice, hope you got a good deal on your purchase.

Hi @GavinM
Yes, I did get mats included. Photo attached.

I got an amazing deal, too. Someone may correct me, but on the weekend before the end of April, each Cupra dealership appears to have had access to one Americas Cup vehicle. I presume that the 1300 originally manufactured were not selling or maybe they just hadn't reached the UK market. I'd tried to order the colour, but told that it just wasn't available

Anyhow, there was a price crash for the last few days of April. Approximately £9k off the RRP of £52k for the car. This has obviously impacted the short-term value of the car, but it reduced it to below the price of my upgraded VZ2. Hence the decision was made.
Especially after my love of Matte Paint, and this particular colour. Which to @Seastormer comment, Yes Matte is a right pain to look after, but it is well worth the effort.

The conditions of sale were that it hasld to close before the end of April. The interest rate was not as low as the typical 4.9% we see advertised. As the monthly figure was the same, this had little impact on my decision.

Second thoughts this should really be in the other thread Terramar PCP & PCH offers thread

Thats great, yes I also got a fantastic deal, the prices seem to have crept back up to nearer the 50K so I am well pleased for what I paid for mine. I have attached a picture of the actual mats that should come with the Americas Cup Edition but seem to be very hard to come by. Now over 4 weeks since I got my car and no word of the mats yet. I will be contacting Cupra direct to see if there is a problem with the supply of the mats, as the dealer doesn't seem to be making any progress.

Just taken delivery of my Terramar VZ1 PHEV. Ordered 25/2/25, build date 5/4/25. Received 27/5/25.
Very pleased with it. I bought online a copy of the full driver's handbook blown up to A4. (You can download this from Cupra but I hadn't sussed that at the time.) Still getting my mind around some of the features. One thing to note, others have probably commented on this, the latest online brochure seems to refer to the VZ and not the VZ1 / VZ2. If I read it right the 32A charging lead is no longer standard (its a £200+ accessory). I was checking the spec as on a previous VW car the dealer had tried to hold out on me, fortunately I had a copy of the old brochure saved to check the spec as ordered and the dealer supplied the car with all the cables. No issues.

There is an old joke where a psychological test includes the categories 'Argues with Himself' and 'Loses those arguments'! I can't now find the brochure that didn't refer to VZ1 and VZ2, I'll repost if Imever find it!
