that polo does look very nice especially in white but so does the Boc, thing is i wouldnt touch the polo, boc or the vrs due to the engine problems i keep reading about on here.

that polo is on 15k miles without a single problem, one of the first polo since they stopped factory production to make it for him! was 60 plate

VRS has old chassis... :p

who cares about interior or build quality? I want a car that will entertain me and make me enjoy driving!

Ibiza looks better but Polo will be buit better / nicer interior

Bollocks, both built to same standards.

the interior is awful in the polo

everyone cupra owner knows u can do 0-60 in less than 7.2... my guess vw exagerate a little to justify charging alot more for it...nicer inside but would i pay thousands extra for that.....no

Mate I have owned both and the Polo has a slighlty higher degree of build quality. Mainly with the door cards and lower dash. Upper dash and clocks seem to be just as good.

Before I bought my Ibiza I looked at the Polo too. It seemed to me that any difference in quality was just that the Polo tended to use soft textured plastic while the Ibiza tended to have hard smooth plastic. In the end it's all just plastic and if someone wants to spend hundreds or even thousands of pounds on different plastic then that's their choice.

You get hill-hold as standard on ibiza, with steering wheel controls? and cruise as well, probably a couple more things too
don't get any of them on polo

Its just manufacturer games. Remember the mk3 cupra 2.0 16v? Was much lighter than the gti so they lied about top speed and acceleration to make it look slower on paper when it was actually quicker. Also they had even put a slower time 0-60 and top speed on the gti because it was too close to the performance of the vr6. Its all about making the more expensive car look better. Even if there is 5hp difference it wont take almost half a second off 0-60

Indeed, Its just marketing. Ive been playing with my OBD Scantool thingy ma bob and actully got a screen shot woohoo

This was on a slight downward incline (not a lot in fairness) and its got 50% less fuel than the other runs (6.5,2 6.7s and a 6.8 with ESP on) but its not 7.2 car for sure These are not GPS speeds these are from the cars ECU.

There about right for a 11 plate Cupra I'd say? Right? Theres plenty people on my old forum that i think dont think the Cupras are this quick.

Remember though the time will be slightly.higher as it is 0>62 the manufacturer test. The torque app has this in. I did mine and I couldnt get any different to the booked times. But I need new tires so this may buy me more time when replaced.
