Isn't there nearly £4k difference in price though? £4k spent on the Cupra would surely get you something special.
I had a Scooby and a mate with an Evo so I know what performance you get from both. We are taking the track results of arguably higher skilled drivers than most of us on this forum. Being honest, how many of you guys who do track days put in consistantly timed 'Stig' like laps? I bet if I did 6 laps in a Cupra and 6 in an FD2, 3 would be quicker in the Cupra and 3 would be slower!
Although the FD2 would be a rare head-turner over here I would rather have the remapped Cupra for everyday ownership and save a few £k. Besides, how many of us can say we regularly similate track-style driving out on the roads?
