What is the button on the sill on the drivers side below the seat belt, its a picture of a car what does this do and what is it, just curious really also any my rear drivers side door wont lock anymore makes a noise but doesnt lock, any ideas what it could be sticky solenoid?

The button disables the ultrasonic sensors for when you leave: kids/dog in or windows open when you turn on the alarm.

Use the search button and it should bring up a shed load of threads with info on both subjects.
