Custom Palette Paint

I ordered my FR TDI Ibiza in lumina orange, because i fell in love with the in the brochures and on the colour chart etc.

What exactly IS the custom pallete paint and why is it over £600?

Is it metallic too?

I take it from your picture yours is lumina orange too? Any chance of some pictures i havent actually seen any real life pictures of it other than the brochure ones.

May have a fiddle with the camera actually, its a sunny day today, but quite annoyed I washed my car last week and its already dirty from the snow yesterday

Would you say the orange is metallic in your opinion?

i suspect that the paint isnt special, i can see the paint being a little more expensive, but i suspect that the largest part of the £600 cost is that its not a popular stock colour and that this can add time to the manufacturing process.

Sorry for the delay, had to give it a quick wash before hand and sorry the quality isnt the best, as it was taken from my mobile, and with the sunshine in some pics, well you get the general idea of how it looks, and tbh it looks much nicer at night imo

had the wheels sprayed in gloss and added the factory tints as an option

soon, when the weather gets alot more warmer, will paint the calipers red and fit on a rear spoiler

love the orange got a second hand leon fr550 and it was in citrus yellow, wanted somthing a bit different than the standard colours. not sure why it is more money but would think it is to keep it special as £600 is a lot of money.
when it is time for me to change car i will go for the orange or white

It looks very nice. It is not metallic but it has a special procection coat.

I went for galia blue myself, as soon as I saw it on the press releases I just had to have it. Not cheap but haven't seen another one yet. It just pops in sunlight as well. Not got 15 posts either but when I do can post some pics!
