Cutting out on idle?

So i'm new here but this is my second problem to put up today. After having my leon cupra for 6 months it's started cutting out at round abouts e.t.c. when hot i.e. after about 20 miles then it'll start after a few mins, i'd also say the pedal response does varie so sometimes im shocked how boosty it is and other times it seems a bit slack. It's got 135k on the clock 10k ive put on in my 6 months, the other thing to mention about this is when it starts playing up at idle revs will drop to 500 before coming back up if i notice this i know it'll cut out soon and im trying to keep revs up while braking.
Will take it somewhere for a check over but looking for any usual suspects first.

I have had EXACTLY the same problem for a very long time and found out the problem on wednesday.

My throttle body was absolutely caped in sh*te on the inside of the butterfly.

Get a tooth brush and some carb cleaner and get cleaning

Sweet I'll try to get the tb off first then. Fingers crossed an easy fix, getting embarising cutting out in traffic!

Don't forget the TB will need resetting after a clean
