Bit of advice required. Could anyone tell me the make and model no of my stereo? I have found that it has DAB but i am unsure how to get it working. See picture below. All its says on it is HDD and MP3. This what put in the car as a aftermarket but it is genuine Seat as it loads up with Seat sign when switched on...

Any help would be gratefully received.

Looks like one of the Chinese made systems similar to mine. Only way to find out is to pull it out and check the sticker on the top

My thoughts exactly.

These units are made to the factory vw/seat size to keep OEM look. Also the start up image is changeable on a lot of these systems too

It looks like the RNS 510 - A VW one, common in the Skoda Octavia VRS and I've seen it in the VW Tiguan. The picture of the RNS 510 Soundwave posted above shows 4 buttons each side.

It's the next step up from the the RNS310/315 which is the one with 3 buttons. It's the better of the two Sat Nav options that are offered because, like you say, it has DAB and it's own HDD.

It certainly deosn't look like a chinese jobby.

I believe, if it's not already, you can install the Sat Nav to the HDD.

In the RNS310 it comes on a disc, and you can install it to an SD card, on the RNS510 you can install it to the HDD, it runs faster that way.

You can also save music to the HDD I believe.

Sat nav is fully operating already with full european (2012) maps on it. Just dont know how to get music on there or get the DAB set up.
