Hi all,

I've got a 2019 Cupra 290 that I've had for a couple of years. I've never had DAB available in the radio for some reason and also no navigation database due to no SD card. I've recently bought an SD card off eBay and found that the card won't work, still trying to work that one out.

When doing all this I've found out that the MIB unit I have is 5F0035877, which I believe is correct to the age of car and head unit model I have, and have found that this should have DAB enabled along with maps.

As mentioned, I've never had DAB available and don't have a clear understanding of why, does anyone have any idea of why this might be? Is it a radio/head unit software related issue?

Many thanks.

does the unit have the dab button available but no reception? If so, the antenna is in the rear glass

The SD card will need an older overall.nds file placing on it
Thanks for the response. No in the radio screen there isn't even the option normally seen in the top corner to switch from FM to DAB. I've previously had the boot trim off and from what I remember all the expected modules were there so would expect the physical components are present.

In the meantime the missing overall.nds file is indexed here

Since people kept deleting and loosing their original with the help of the board we found the year dot one of this which is the fix for all Seat mib2 standard maps when you loose that file by not taking a copy of it in the workaround method or you bought a secondhand car with a missing map card. You need a new map card, new contents above plus the workaround with the missing file below.

The file is on the attachment here:

Cheers will have a look (y) planning on doing the other map version we discussed in the main thread for that the other day at some point this weekend.
