Nah. I didn´t like the "mood" of the front end cause it looked so damn black :/ That seat badge brings some color.
Had it in mind to paint that and rear badge to match the (new up coming) color of wheels.
Damn that MK3 VR6 jettas/ventos rear seat wasn´t as easily fittable than i tought Well i got time to fit it there.

Got my lights from germany. Postman brought me a set of yeallow bulbs wich wasn´t as yeallow i thought they would be.. Next time i buy some luminics bulbs I got also a set of us parking lights conversion set.

F**k your car's lookin pretty dam cool man and the colour really shines in the shade there eh? It's good to see another cordy of the same sort of age as mine, gives me inspiration to improve mine.
Did you not like the regular clear headlights? Also bud any chance you could post me a nice pic of your centre dash where your stereo fits in, I'm interested in the euro style ones, just pm me if you want to keep it out of the thread. Cheers.

Car looks VERY cool... Whatever you do, do not colour code your car... It loooks sweeet as it is
Thanks : ) I won´t color code it Those look like they were dropped into paint canisters. Black and blue are good color combination.
Thinking that i have to change wheels thou. 16" are bit too small for getting rid of that wheelgap :/ Next summer i think im running some 17" RH ZW1 (or 17" OZ futuras) so the rims style is going to be the same and i can get it to sit right

Some little updates are goming too. New original bumber and original mirror´s are at paintshop. Mirror´s are going to be like in cupra and sport models half painted. Bumber is going to be just like that old one, but in good paint and without any damages

i love your wheels! please tell me the wheels specs ( et and j and size of the spacers/adaptors)
leave it on 16" they look the best on this car. i had 205/40 17" and they look too big. 16" 195/45 or 215/40 is the way to go

Yeas. That might be a little problem, but there is that wheelgap problem still at 16". And that is problem too cause i have about 2-4cm from oilpan to ground Traction joints and track rods doesn´t like that height too.
Rim specs are 16x8.5" ET 45 and 16x9.5" ET 35 with 20mm adapters. Im not sure about those ET:s but i think that those are the right ones

Yeas, ET:s are about those. I´ll have to look the ET:s cause im not absolutely sure about them. Rear fenders are rolled. They were rubbing at start, but not anymore if car isn´t in full load of people and booze
At summer we had some problems cause we were going in to weekend trip and i had to sit at rear with all the stuff we had cause i was the "lightweight" guy At next summer i´ll need to figure out how to make that rear end little stiffer. Jom´s coilovers aren´t the stiffiest after two years use
Airsuspension would be nice too, but i think that i have something else to spend those moneys New updates coming at next weekend

i have same problem. for example 16" 9j et25 215/40 they rub on any bump .
16" 9j et30 195/45 is the limit . they rub just on big bumps and when i have 2 people in the back
i have rear fenders rolled just a lil bit. when i will get some new wheels i will roll them good

)That´s a little annoying but not as annoying that my oilpan is leaking again... I doesn´t understand how it can be broken suddenly again (i have a very strong cover for it)... Well i think i have to fix it on coming days but motivation is in zero.
And it would be a little pointless to change tires because it was a car clubs weekend showdown/meeting I think that seat wouldn´t look nice with original 14x5j steelies

i'm loving the build! i've got a red one of these sat on porsche teledials. will have to get a build thread up!
Not my favourite model but this looks mint!! loving the wheels. I think the badgelss grill would look good.
