Hi guys.

I've recently had FK Sport Edition Plus coilovers put on my Mk4 Ibiza. And to put it nicely - it's crap. The ride is bouncy and it doesn't handle at all.

They're fully damping adjustable (front and back). They have a little knob that you put on the top of the struts and turn to adjust the damping. It's numbered 1-6. 6 being softest and 1 being hardest.

Can anyone help with damping settings? Does the front want to be harder than the rear? Or the rear harder than the front? Does anyone else have these coilovers?

Please help with your knowledge and wisdom! :D Otherwise I'll be reverting back to standard..... :(

I put a set of these on mine on thursday. Play around with the knob adjuster and you'll know when its seated correctly in the top of the damper. The top part should move independantly of the bottom to show what setting you have. I was under the impression that 1 was the softest and this is what i had it set up on originally. Have to say that as they came out the box they were far too soft and spongy.

Anyway, after the adjuster sat in properly i just moved it round to 3. Removed it and st in back on 1 as im assuming thats what they all were. Carried on doing the same to the rest.

I've only driven it for a few days but the ride has firmed up abit and feels better. May adjust it slightly so the front is abit harder but thats only my personal opinion. I'll wait untill my tyres are properly warn in before i do anything.

Hope that helps.

I've currently got the front's set at 2 and the rear's at 6. It seems an ok ride and it handles alright. But yeh 6 is far too soft and bouncy for anybody's use unless you're in america on dead straight, flat roads.
