Dash Icon

[Arosa16vology]

Right i started the car up this evening and the engine looking icon came on.

Looked in the manual it says Exhaust Emissions Warning lamp! but it say if there is something wrong with it it will flash and contact official seat centre.

But mine doesn't flash it just on.

any idea??

Did it go off again, or stay on?

They usually seem to stay on if there is a problem - dunno why the maunal says they flash.....




p.s. The only real way to find out what is wrong is to get the car plugged into VAGcom - that light is a sort of general warning lamp for fault codes...helpfully

Post on club lupo to see if anyone near you has a vag com you could borrow for the evening - just to be safe!

currently all lights are off Seat put it through there system the other day.
