Hi all well thought it was about time i posted some pics of my car on here.

After a long amount of time looking for a new car i finally found a 2001 plate leon cupra 20v 180bhp on piston heads. The car has 73,000 on the clock with full seat service history (9 stamps) mot till feb etc. A mate drove me to Coventry last night and if i am honest i didn't expect it to be that clean as it was only up for £1850. When we finally got there after a 2 hour trip i looked around the car and i was surprised at how clean it was with only a few very minor scratches to the paint work and the interior was mint. Then took the car for a test drive with the owner and loved it right from the start so got back and sorted the paper work out and even knocked him down to £1700.

This is what the car looked like when i picked it up.

So far i have fitted a forge splitter r, done the n249 mod, fitted a bmc cda filter with 70mm reducer, brought a set of fitted car mats and fitted a set of Heko wind deflectors.

Next on the list is a downpipe, decat, remap and coil overs then will start to look at wheels.

Will post more recent pics up when its not raining.

Thought that i had better update this as alot has gone on!

When i first got the car i was desperate for some wheels. So without really thinking i brought some slr rep wheels.

After a short while i decided they were to small and didnt suit the car, so they went and i brought a set of cupra r alloys.

Amazing what a drop and a set of LCR wheels can do to the look of the car. In all honesty i didnt like the slr's either. A set of spacers would set the stance even better imo ;) Keep up the good work bud

Thanks for the kind words. Tbh i was shocked at what a difference the wheels and the drop made. Spacers are on this months list. What size would you recommend 15 f and 20 r? Also what type eg bolt on or bolt through (longer bolts)?

Exactly what im going for, 20 rear + 10/15 front just to fill the arch gaps. Im not sure tbh mate but i was reading a thread earlier about spacers and damian @ DPM performance recommended bolt through and these

Cheers for the link. Do you know if that is for a set of 4? Will they do a staggered set eg 15 f and 20 r? May have to give him a call friday.

Think its just for 2 of them. Just had a quick browse and over 15mm spacers are bolt on and 15mm or under are bolt through. Give them a call as they are more clued up than me lol

This looks great mate.
As said - it's amazing the difference a new set of wheels has made!

Nice! Was supposed to be picking the Bmc up today! Having second thoughts now! When you say restrictive do you mean noise wise or performance?
