has anyone done this on their mk3, if so how did it look and do you have to fill in any holes, daz

yeh i did it, no holes, dead simple, hairdryer, t cut and elbow grease is all ya need! bad pic but here ya go!

try to avoid using t-cut if possible, its quite abrasive and removes alot of paint, use autoglym instant tar remover instead, soak on and then wipe the adhesive straight off!

I debadged all the badges from mine because the 'CUPRA' badge fell apart literally lol, I still havent managed to clear off the foamy gunk thing it leaves behind because im lazy and its too cold at the moment.

It looks better debadged though IMO.

Use a hair dryer to get the badges/glue realyl hot, then use dental floss behind them in a sawing motion to cut through the glue.

If any glue is left after, heat it up again and it should peel off.

Autoglymn instant tar remover is good to remove anything remaining, then clean the surface and polish.

Ive got a red car and when igot mine off the paint looks like its faided behind it, ive used no end of different polishes, scratch removers, tax removers and cleeaning solutions and i cant get rid of it, its like "IBIZA" and "SEAT" have been sprayed into the pain in a lighter colour Red!!! Any ideas as i fear it may need spraying!!!!

Just debagged mine using the advice above (tar remover and super resin polish) and a hair dryer n fishing line and its come up perfect, thanks guys
