Custom code would not be able to map it to take advantage? I mean custom for the mods rather than the firm. Apologies if there is a reason why the decat would throw the ecu a fault code and this is why it is not available

What about a free flow downpipe coupled with a high flow cat? That would get you someway to a decat performance level. There is discussion on a 3" downpipe compared to a 2.75" downpipe and the relative benefits of the larger bore if you are considering this route.

You should look at removing the resonator that is under the left passenger location of the exhaust system... Not much on HP gain but it gives the car a very good sound without resonating in the cabin... My car has been driven like this for a few months and no one has said anything negative including people who are just passengers in the back.... One of my best 20euro mods to date in the sound department.. :)

milltek advise the same size pipe and d/pipe @ 2.75", would the Cupra not be better to have a bigger on seeing as its running the K04, or is it the TFSi benefits from having the 2.75" instead of a smaller 2.5"

i think some people discussed why the cupra uses the 2.75" DP and not the 3" like the s3... i would like to go for a full TB but at that price i think i will be happy with approx 310bhp lol

As Igor23 stated do a de-cat, i've heard it on a couple of mkV gti's, liked it everytime, however even crusing at 50 can be a bit on the noisey side...however i'ms till going to get one.
Its detachable too so can just swap it over for a sports cat or whatever without welding being required!
