i have recently fited a de cat pipe on my lcr and my engine light has come on . i have searched it alot and most people say to get the rear lamba sensor maped out but a few are saying about a piece that screws into the exaust and the lamba sensor screws into that .. i think they called it a vwvortex stoper or something , will one of these stop the light coming on , where do i get one or do i have to get it maped out ??
im thinking of putting the cat back on but dont want to cus the de cat makes the car sound much better .:(

I'm running that excat block above with no problems at all.

I have a normal Cupra not a R but I can't see it would make any difference?

"Wayne Schmidt has developed a fitting to solve the CEL problem. His fitting has been thoroughly tested and is running on hundreds of VWs with a stellar success rate. Pictured below, this fitting installs in place of the second oxygen sensor and relocates the sensor outside the flow of gasses. The sensor is installed at a 90° angle to clear the heatshield and ground. The fitting is CNC machined from 303 and 316 stainless steel, guaranteed to last forever and is a completely reversible modification. Wayne's fittings are available by emailing him directly: [email protected] "
