DE-Cat questions

Ive had a little search but not much around really .. My cats gone on the MK3 IBIZA SPORT, and dont know weather to get a oem replacment or de cat it!

Whats the best de cat to but?

My dads a welder/fab and owns his own bis is it worth it getting him to make one up out of steel?

you might aswell get him to make one for you, its only a straight bit of pipe, make sure he welts a nut onto it though so that you can put the lambda sensor back in, otherwise your car wont run properly. id buy a second hand cat aswell for when it needs to be MOT'd

as above, make sure he welds them with flanges so wen M.O.T comes u can just slip it off.
