de misting probs

recently had a look at my pollen filter and also checked weather there were any blockages there as i was getting water in my footwell, have just been out in the car and the heating fans are blowing but im only getting a little bit of hot air coming out of the vents instead of the usual hurricain force winds.

Any help would be appreciated

Theres an arrow on it showing the direction of airflow. When reffiting the cover be carefull that the rubber seats in nicley and doesnt fold over.

noticed mine leaves a patch not covered on the windscreen , so it demists exept that bit in the middle ??

Where is the polon filter and how do you get to it was planning on having a look at myne. Just had it's 50k service so should they have chekced it then?

As you look at the front of your car the filter is at the back on the right hand side. You should see two screws on a pit of plastic just below the wind screen.

To get to it you can either

Remove the small bit of plastic and the rubber bit behind, then unclip the filter and remove. (this is the quickest way but you are not garanteed to get the rubber cover back in place correctly so you will then have th same problem as me)

The other way is a bit longer but you get everything in the right place

1 Remove wiperbaldes

2 Remove the black seal that runs across the back of the engine bay

3 Remove the black cover as in the way above then remove the black clipped in window facia. (might need to pull a bit.

4 Then remove the pollon filter and its cover.

When putting it all back i found that you get a goos seal and cover if you do it this way

1 Pollon filter
2 Rubber cover
3 Black window facia/sill
4 reconnect the washer jets
5 wiper blades and final seal
