Deadlocking...one key press or two?

Ive read conflicting things before...so someone set the record straight...when locking a LCR with on key press are the deadlocks engaged or do you need a second consecutive press to activate the deadlocks?

1 press on locking to activate deadlocks 110%

 

[Hairy]

Single press = deadlocks on
double press = deadlocks off

If don't believe me just lock your self in and try and get out using the handles.

Nice one guys...thats what Ive been doing but Ive seen mention of pressing it twice and it confused me.
