Dealer says my Mk4 Leon can't have Full Link

Hello everyone,

I'm from Portugal and bought a first batch Mk4 Leon ST FR in 2020 on a promotional campaign, it's a 2.0 TDI.

Initially they told me I could buy it later but in 2021 when I tried to purchase Full Link the dealer said it wasn't available.

A few weeks ago on a visit to the dealer they told me that I could purchase it and so I did, unfortunately after a bunch of visits to the dealer no one could get it installed...

Has anyone had this problem?

Many thanks

Probably not related, but the dealer said the same to me about Full Link in my mk3 Leon 2015. They couldn’t install it.

Well, do you know which software version does your infotainment have? Probably 1672, the same as my Leon had when I bought it in sep 2020.
After an upgrade to 1709, that full link was enabled, but previous version didn't have such capability.

Now, my infotainment has software version 1996, and after every software upgrade, that the infotainment has improved.

It’s weird because the software version on mine is 1940 :/

Then, when yours was updated the dealer didn't activate the full link, same happened to me, and a guy with obd activate it, and voilà, working. Let me see if I have the pics or the exact option to be activated, but sure it can be done.

Fiscal Edition ? No Smart ambient lights, no rear camera, no electric back trunk, 17" rims, DSG ?

I got mine on 28th December 2020 (tuga, claro).

So today went to my dealer, Mscar, asked for prices to get the full link and renew Seat connect, and they told me Seat connect renewal would be around 50€ for 2 years and that would activate the full link.
I thing that's strange, maybe they don't understand much or do you know if this is true ?

Voll Link MIB 3

5F0054830E

No Warranty
So that means that as My device is 5FA035862K I don't have the chance to activate full link ?

Even that shows up on the shop page (Não compatível com veículos com PR NI1, NI2, NI7, NI8 ou NI9) not compatible with those or car with optional 9W0.

How do I know if that's my case ?
