Debadging

hey im looking to take the two plastic strips out the back of the ibiza with the Seat and Ibiza writing on so i can get them painted all black and get rid of the badges, but i've not taken em out before and have no idea how to get em off! anyone? help would be much appreciated

I took out the two plastic strips, but its so fragile! It's pasted with a heavy double face sticky...

I could remove one without breakage, but the second one has been broken.


So, i took a piece of plastic, and i cut in to have 2 similar strips... and i painted them in black.

After, i pasted them with a double face sticky....


Try to heat them a little bit, maybe you could remove them...

easy to do, do it on a warm day with a pallett knife.. take it easy tho

cheers guys gave it a miss today due to the snow managed to remove the SXE badge before my hands froze so not a total loss
