Decat with revo stage 1

Hi guys,
I collect my 08 plate Leon k1 on friday, can't wait.
Its standard bar the Revo stage 1 remap, which I'm planning to change in the near future
I've already read that using a decat downpipe can cause an engine management light to come on (tis the same with european market evo's too...).
Does the stage 1 map sort this? Or will I need further stages or even a custom map to cure?

It needs to go to stage 2 revo to stop the light coming on mate.

Thanks for that pal, will prob do the induction kit and cat back section first, then have the stage 2 done the same time I get the decat/downpipe. Can't be doin with payin £450 for a sports cat when that money would be better spent on other tuning goodies or petrol

Yeah if you can get away with the Mot emissions decat is the cheap option. If your car already has revo stage 1 its only about £80 to go to stage 2 so induction kit too and thats it. mmm for now!
