Destination sent from Seat Connect App to Navigation

Hi

I have a Seat Tarraco 1.4 TSI eHybrid, and I noticed a strange behavior of the Navigation system.
When I send a destination form the Seat Connect App to the car, I get the notification when I turn on the car and the possibility to get the navigation.

The issue is that every time I turn on the car I get the same notification saying: "Destination will be deleted after a set number of days" .

Did I miss some configuration, where is this number seted up?
Anybody with some hint how to handle this?

With kind regards
Rade

Hey

Were you able to find a solution or the number of days this went away? I have the exact same problem on my Formentor.

Well i expected the solution here 😁. Anyway I found how you can disable the service.

Go into the user settings and find Security and Services, under the services you will find the option online destination or something like that. Disable it and it wont show again. However if you activate it again it will pop up again so this means you wont be able to use this servise any more.

For me it was super anoying so I made my peace that I wont use this.

Hope this helps...

In general after 2 weeks of using new Tarraco looks like very bugy 😔. Can't import phone contact pictures, battery not very long lasting not at least how they avdertised it etc.

Thanks for the reply.

Cupra Formentor probably has the same infotainment system under some different skin. I contacted Cupra customer support directly to find a solution so I have some more info I will let you know.
As for the problems with profile images I know that one imported contact has an image but one doesn't so maybe it is to do where and how the contact is stored. I don't know exactly sadly.
But all in all I like the system, they at least update the system remotely quite often.

Hi I think also that is the same system. All in all it is fine but bugy and I know this stuff since I'm in IT.

Looking forward to the potential solutions withing the updates. I also contacted the support, hope they will know what to do with it 😁.

Regarding contacts, all contacts are on google, trided to move them around local, samsung account etc, change picture size / formats wont work. You can try wit one contact which works (picture imported) and just change something like add another number / email or something after re-importing the picture will be gone 🤪.

Best regards

I don't have a mib3 but my understanding is the destination memory is some what reduced over mib2 which appears to have no limits... I have 250 or so stored so far. This may be why it wants to ditch previous destinations due to lack of built in memory it how it was designed.

Throw this to @dan555 for wise words who has the system on a Leon 4.

I unfortunately have one of the early mib3 systems(1672) which doesnt have destination import. However my contact photos have seemed to have automatically imported fine, with Android 11 and contacts all being stored in Google/Outlook.

It sounds like this could be one of the many bugs of mib3, what could be happening is mib3 is saving the destination locally but not removing it from the list on the server of "destinations to import". The delete text could actually mean "if you don't save the destination locally it will be removed from the list on the server after a few days". But this is entirely speculation.

What you could try is sending the destination to the car, pressing the save button in the popup, then removing the destination from the app and then waiting to see if the message still appears a few days later

I found a solution that, at least, worked for me.
So I do not have anything official from Cupra's support but we have 2 accounts linked with the car and they are connected to the keys.
So after my wife drove with her key and her account, the notification disappeared for me. At least this is what I think happened, after her driving my account does not have that notification.
