Diagonal length of Altea - Fitting a ladder in the car

Has anyone put a Ladder in their Altea? If I fold the back seats and slide the passenger seat forward and tilt the back either forward or back. Can I get a ladder in diagonally across the full length of the car?

I want to get a ladder that's long enough for me to get the gutters on a normal semi. I think I'm looking at an aluminium triple extension ladder. I can get to B&Q and Wickes in my Lunch hour. Should I be going somewhere else to get my ladder?

There is no way you would get a full size ladder in the Altea. I have a set of folding ladders that will get you upto the first floor window and they just fit nicely so I doubt full size ladders will fit.
