Diesel dumpvalve - pin 69?

Hi got the forge diesel dumpvalve (and before anyone starts, i couldnt care less that its a 'diesel dumpvalve' and theyre crap) for the motor but think the garage has put it in wrong.
Theres a wire that goes to pin69 which the forge guide said maybe blue and grey. Long story short, the blue and grey wire was pin70. (pin69 was blue and white). Fella in the garage attached it to blue and grey wire and its because of this i dont think its working.

Can anyone whos fitted one of these help? Is pin 69 blue and white on the ibizas?

i just bought one aswell fitting mine on saturday though so will prob be able to help then but if it says pin 69 it has to go in pin 69 regardless of wire colours!!!

oh and get a sound clip up when it does start working, i plugged mine onto my bro's 1.8t gpolf and it sounded the nuts lol

I took mine off, had problems with the hose blowing off once the boost kicked in. Waste of money to be honest.

get in touch with forge mate there must be some way of resolving the issue, more clips maybe?? which bit kept popping off??

I've just give up on it. Couldnt be arsed hearing a big bang and loosing boost everytime it comes off.

Sorta highlighted it in red where it kept blowing off

so the jubelle clip isn't holding it?? as mine is running 32psi i'm thinking that may be a big issue for me aswell

I just wouldnt bother with it Mikey, the car just didnt feel right even when the hose didnt blow off. (which wasnt for long)

i'm going to try it atleast to see what its like if i don't like it i will take it back off and send it to forge!!

i had a dump valve fitted to my 100pd ibiza at the derv-doctor about 18months ago, its running with a cc ph1 map, fmic, full miltek inc de-cat, green induction + pd 160 intakes. not sure how mch power im getting at the mo but my point is that it sounds and looks great and ive never had an issue with pipes blowing off...money well spent.

have you got video or sound clip?? i think my mate has the same one cost him 250 inc fitting?? and it has a sensor behind the acceleratr?? i like it but it sounds a bit tinny to me, i'm hopeing the forge one sounds a bit more meaty like a 1.8t

not sure how to get one on tbh, im rubbish with computers! i agree that sometimes it sounds a bit raspy, but i often get poeple asking whats under the bonnet because overall with the exhaust and induction kit it sounds awesome!
