Just a quick thing...does everyone else have the manual leaver on the side of the drivers seat to raise it up and down. Reason i asked as saw another beefa and it did not have a separate display showing the handbrake light. So just thinking what differences there are. Mine is a 2000 (x) reg 1.8T.

cheers

lol the seats are all the same (besides the cloth colour)

the main difference between the 'old' and 'new' mk3s mainly part related, new revisions replaced older less efficient parts, or problem prone. rumour has it the older models only have a pre cat lambda sensor where mine (02) has pre and post sensors
and the hand brake symbol is the little exclamation on the main display rather than the seperate one

no real big differences

And the (P) that comes up at the bottom of the dash when you have the handbrake on !!

Later mk3s don't have it believe !! I know mine doesn't !!
