different glove boxes??

I tried having a search for this before so no hating please lol.

Im a bit fed up with my glovebox as it is split and has the blank where the CD changer would be, id much prefer one that is just a single box and no partitions. Has anyone done that? What other glovebox did you use??

All the glove box's have the partition, you just need the part that replaces the CD changer.

yeah i have that bit that replces the CD changer but i wanted to know if anyone has put a glove box from a different car in there, one that doesnt have the partitions. Might be a bit of an ask though

well i wondered if one from and Audi A4 would or another VAG type one would, maybe im just a bit optimistic haha

The Audi one might fit but seeing as the Leons dash is from the A3 i would imagine its the same??

I've just started a thread roughly the same as this I'm looking to remove my multichanger as I don't use it will i have to buy a sleeve of some sort to replace the multichanger

Yeah ive got that sleeve thing but i found that there isnt a lot of space in there because of the split, i keep cd cases and the handbook in mine so i need some more space really, i'll post a picture of what i mean at some point

Yeah not really worried about touch space just need it for my user manual as I don't have a cd head unit just bought a Philips head unit which I just plug my I phone into a cradle and bobs your uncle charges and plays my music

An early A3 glovebox is a straight swap with the Leon one but doesn't come in the same colours/grains, so I bought a 2nd A3 one and made a hybrid with a leon front lid and A3 internals. I can post pictures at the end of the week when I get home.
