Just bought some wicked LED side lamp bulbs. The only problem i have is that when i turn the side lights on with the ignition the head lights come on half brihtness (call dim-dip) Any idea how i can get rid of it. Theres a resistor some were, any ideas guys were it is........
I stuck some leds in my sidelights, they draw too much power, mine just flickered the whole time so i had change them! I think you have to wire in a transformer or some sort resistor/ capacitor(I dont do electronics)! Thats why your main beams are weak!
Lol, rubbish In fact they use about 1/10th of power compared to conventional sidelight bulbs. The reason why they are flickering is because they have a loose connection in the bulb holder. So all you need to do is open up the wires up a bit more so that they touch the contacts better.
as for the dim dip thing, as I have already mentioned, I managed to sort my thing out by accident, I think I was jamming something in the fuse/relay box and ever since only the sidelights were on when ignition on.
