Dimming wire feed

Hi, is the blue/white wire the dimming feed to tap into for wiring a gauge lamp? if not what other colours did seat use?

Blue white is your switched live cable. You should also have a fatter red wire thats the perm live and the brown is the negative. Thats how i have my boost gauge wired in to and it works fine.

I take it you are wiring the dimming feed to the back of the headlight switch unit, if so I would advise searching for W8 light fitting threads, there is a guide on the none forum part of the site but the pic is a little unclear. I will try and find the thread i posted a tip in about it. I think the wire is grey/blue or something.

im only wiring a single lamp not an led so only need the one +feed, is it always in the same position as on pabs guide?
