Hi
Is there any negatives to turning off auto stop/start with the Carista app? Only as I've read it changes the voltage and wanted to know if that then affected anything else i.e lights etc ?

Hi, I think you have miss read about the voltages, the stop/start works on the voltage of the battery, with things like Air con, heated rear window etc, so if you change the settings of this it could fool the system into thinking the voltage is lower and the
stop/start wont work, but it does not affect the actual voltages
Hope that helps

Ok that's perfect and thanks for the response, is it just as straight forward to enable it again with the Carista app ? Thanks again.

Hi again, I have not used the Carisa app, but in theory yes, but depends what year car you have as I have read it does not
work on newer cars, I have tried it (with OBD11) and cannot do it on my 19 plate

yes no issue at all just click the option (voltage) you want it to kick in at and save

I've done it on three cars. A 2014, 2016 and 2017. It has worked on them all with no side effects.

You do get a stop/start error in the corner of the clock LED screen at the times when stop/start should be active.

I would rather see it working the other way around:
Straight from the start it should be switched off, but you can switch it on. So the working should be inversed. Is that possible on a 2019 Cupra R ST?

Should be possible with a memory module like this:-

Oh sure. I'm going to hack a computer into my car built by people who can't even be bothered to translate into English correctly! Bet that's one hundred percent trustworthy.
