cheers will give it a go the car is being a right pain at the moment everytime i put my foot down it just holds back on me

i changed that about 6 months ago it would go that quick would it

no not got a boost gauge went to forge last monday and the car has a fault code of negative boost devation

Im not a vag com geek by any means as im just getting used to it myself but i think that could either mean the N75 or you have a boost leak somwhere. If your car is standard and your not modding it any further i have a autometer boost gauge for sale.

Check the hose from the top of the DV...

My item had been smelted causing your symptoms, either that or go to Maplins and buy Isopropynol (?sp) Alcohol and give the MAF probe a good going over..

Car's never ran better after that!

No worries mate, Have you changed all your vac hoses for silicone ones? If you havent i would (and have) Makes the engine bay look better and could also be a cheap fix to your problem!
