Do I need to change hoses?

The brakes on my FR+ are being upgraded to a 312mm setup next week (keeping the same calipers though), and i'm just checking that the OEM hoses are ok to use, are they long enough for the 312's?

I've had a search but couldn't find anything conclusive

Not you dont mate, you use then same hoses, calipers and can even use the same pads (if your a bit tight) the only things you'll need to change are the caliper carriers and the discs.

I changed to goodridge braided hoses as a precaution and was pleased with them for £45 delivered.

I no this sounds like a silly question to someone that already in the know ! but where do you get the carriers from ?

i bought mine through a seat dealer, because i work for one about £125 retail or you can get them of ebay for £100 or so.

thanks MJ, got everything else; discs, pads and carriers, and just started wondering about the hoses! will stick with std for now

andi, I got my carriers off ebay, brand new OEM with new pins and bushes, about £130

I was...but I can't bear to part with her I had one of those moments where I looked at her and thought "why the hell do I want to sell?" So she's staying with me for another few years.
