My Leon has been in my garage for the last 3 weeks. Its been neglected and im sure it will hate me for it. Dont get me wrong its clean and its polished, its just not been driven, . What a waste of a fantastic car.

I stopped using mine for my daily 75 mile round trip commute since I fitted the BT. I sometimes take it one day a week.

The car is perfectly practicable for daily use still, but it made sense to keep it for 'leisure' use.

Asume you have a micra, as a run about :D

I used to cycle to work and leave the leon parked up all week, Love getting back in on a Friday nite, having good blast 2 the pub, half a coke and blast home what a car

My Mrs has been using mine every day this week so I've been left with the Golf - while nice to pose in, it's somewhat basic and the lack of power steering and good brakes makes it hard work for any larger distance... looking forward to the weekend so I can get back behind the wheel of the LCR :)

i picked mine up from the garage yesterday after not having it for two weeks. it was a nice drive home with the new gearbox fitted!

I drive mine every day of the week except Sundays. That's the Sabbath day when all good, holy cars are allowed to rest. And even then I feel like I've been away too long when Monday morning rolls round.

This be the gospel of the Cupra driver...amen...

Although I fear she'll get a little less use if and when I get my bike license...

I miss the performance of the LCR and after the suspension mod's it handled quite well and I miss it's 'chuckability' and I knew the limits of the LCR exactly. I also miss the Stealth factor of the LCR.....for me that was the main bit of fun.....unsuspecting Chav picks a fight or someone tailgates you on the motorway, so change down get the car on boost and wave bye bye.

Having come to the autobahn express Passat it's chalk and cheese, I love the build quality and it's ability to munch several hundred of miles and I still feel fresh at the end of it. But there is no edge to it, it does what it says on the tin.

When I'm lugging 4 people around or the Little one, pram, car seat, luggage which is more often than not these days the Passat just does with ease what the LCR would struggle to do.

But yeah I miss it.......

I've been two weeks away from home and I sure miss mine. :(
I'll drive it every day, even if i have nowhere to go, just for fun.
My mrs won't drive it cause, besides the fact that it's too harsh to drive on the road, it draws too much attention, she's affraid to damage it, and it scares the hell out of her :D

i miss mine , sold it over 6 months ago , got a ibiza ihi now , but its not as fun to drive as the lcr was , the lcr just handled so well , and felt like you were going a lot quicker than you were ,

funny thread this. I work in central london and LCR is usually parked up and I walk to the nearest station but sometimes I miss driving the car in the week, so I hop in and drive to another over ground station and park up. Just so I can take the baby out.. wicked!!

Last week I missed driving mine. I was working away from the office and had to commute over 100 miles daily for a week. Naturally I did not really want to put the miles on the LCR and burn all that fuel just for work. So I took the gf's car!!

I really appreciate the drive of the LCR, cause when I got back in it on the Saturday I was all smiles again.

when i see an LCR pass me in the truck im always p1ssed that im stuck in 56 mph mode and said LCR is free to go as quick as they want

Didn't drive mine for so long a while back the battery went flat. There are a few things that need doing though and I've just been to busy to get on here let alone drive for pleasure.

Having a 1.3cdti company Corsa sucks!!!

p.s. Phil - Vik and I will be at Thurxton on the Sunday :) Just gotta sort our tickets.
