The release bearing has been making noise for about a year and needs to be changed but the car is modified by a previous owner and I don't actually know what power it's running or what's been done as the person that sold it wasn't the one who modified it. I'm guessing around 250ish bhp and whatever torque is relative to that and I just can't find information online about what clutch can take that cause information about these cars and engines are obsolete, has anyone got a similarly powered CEGA engine and know any good clutches that won't shred instantly? It apparently has a SMF which will be resurfaced if it's good, should probably mention it's a 6 speed manual 2007 Leon FR+ 2.0 TDI if that helps.

Thanks for your help

CG Motorsport do a range of clutches for varying power levels. Might be worth having the car on a rolling road to find what power and torque it's running.

250ish means it's got a larger turbo, injectors, FMIC and all that on it already?

The turbo isn't too big but spoils hard and I just can't read the writing on it cause it's too cramped in the engine bay and the intercooler is definitely different cause the original pipes wouldn't fit the flange and I assume different injectors cause I've heard these engines get rail drain at about 230bhp.

It's never been apart for me to actually know so it's just guesswork on whats actually been done, I would get a Dyno but they're kinda out of my budget as I'm trying to find the clutch and fit it myself to save money cause mechanics want £1600+

Thanks for your answer as it's really hard to find any online

Sadly they only do 1.9 TDI clutches and not 2.0
