Pal all the engines are similar, 1.4 97> is either £8 or £10. Ring Seat if your worried pal, does definately have a cam belt tho.

i thought most engines had atleast 1 camshaft? so theyd have a cambelt, iv never heard of an engine without one...rotary engines maybe?

No I Dont think Rotarys do have one my mates RX7 doesnt IIRC

answer is yes it will have one.

not all engines do, the mini's a-series engine for example.

Not all VAG engines have cambelts; the VR5 and VR6 and all the larger engines have chain driven cams, as does the new 115 hp 1.6 FSI straight-four.
